Kohei Takiguchi founded MEDLEY, INC. in June 2009 with heightened awareness of issues with medical care based on his personal medical experiences and serves as CEO. Prior to founding Medley, he established Gemeinschaft, Inc., in the United States at the age of 17 and provided marketing and statistical research services in Japan and abroad.

Yosuke IshizakiSenior Vice President, Head of HR Platform Business
Yosuke Ishizaki joined MEDLEY, INC. in April 2015 and oversees the HR Platform Business. Prior to joining Medley, he worked at Hatena Co., Ltd. and held the role of Director of the Media Department at GREE Inc. and President of its subsidiary. He also serves as Representative Director of the group company MEDLEY Financial Service, Inc. and ASFON TRUST NETWORK, Inc.

Ryo KawaharaDirector, Senior Vice President and CFO
Ryo Kawahara joined MEDLEY, INC. in July 2016 and oversees Finance, including Investor Relations, FP&A, Accounting, Tax, and M&A. Prior to joining Medley, he worked on domestic and overseas funding and M&A advisory services at JP Morgan Securities.

Shin TakeuchiDirector, Senior Vice President and CHRO
Shin Takeuchi joined MEDLEY, INC. in February 2025 and oversees HR. Prior to joining Medley, he joined Fuji Soft ABC (now FUJISOFT) and developed a wide range of software with a focus on enterprise services. In 2008, he participated in the founding of BizReach (now Visional), and as director and CTO, he was involved in the development of HR services including BizReach and HRMOS.

Ryusuke InamotoVice President, CTO of HR Platform Business and Deputy General Manager of HR Platform
Ryusuke Inamoto joined MEDLEY, INC. in October 2014 and serves as CTO of the HR Platform Business. Prior to joining Medley, he was engaged in the design and construction of infrastructure for a variety of services in an Internet service company, and then engaged in the development of services related to Internet radio and music streaming as a back-end engineer. He also has had experience as an infrastructure engineer at an independent systems integrator.

Takeshi TeramachiVice President, Deputy General Manager of HR Platform Business
Takeshi Teramachi joined MEDLEY, INC. in May 2015 and leads marketing and business development at the HR Platform Business. Prior to joining Medley, he worked in sales, web marketing, and product planning and served as manager of new business at Recruit. He also worked for a venture company as a board member.

Terukazu KurabayashiVice President, VPoE of HR Platform Business
Terukazu Kurabayashi joined MEDLEY, INC. in April 2024 and serves as VPoE of the HR Platform Business. Prior to joining Medley, he was engaged in the development and management of web and cloud services at the Fujitsu Group. He later served as Executive Officer and VPoE at Lancers, Inc., where he led product development, built a high-performing engineering organization, and enhanced company-wide productivity.

Hiromune ShishidoVice President, CTO of Medical Platform Business
Hiromune Shishido joined MEDLEY, INC. in April 2017 and serves as CTO of the Medical Platform Business. Prior to joining Medley, he worked for CyberAgent, Inc. for nine years as a server-side engineer, developing and operating the infrastructure for blog and gaming services as well as launching a video distribution service. After joining Medley, he developed many features for the cloud-based telemedicine system and electronic medical record system as a key part of the development team.

Makoto YamazakiVice President, VPoE of Medical Platform Business
Makoto Yamazaki joined MEDLEY, INC. in October 2023 and serves as VPoE of the Medical Platform Business. Prior to joining Medley, after working for a system integrator, he worked as an engineer and engineering manager for social media and gaming platforms at GREE, Inc. and for cloud-based accounting services at freee, Inc. He also servedas CTO at Kyash, Inc. from 2021 to 2023.

Hiroyuki KomatsuVice President and President of Pacific Medical, Inc.
Hiroyuki Komatsu has been Vice President of MEDLEY, INC. since June 2023. He is the founder and President of Pacific Medical, Inc. (former Pacific System Co., Ltd.), which was founded in 1997 and is currently a subsidiary of Medley. He works on the basic design of electronic medical record and designing electronic health record to support local medical institutions in building a network within the community and streamlining their operations.

Takeshi MuroVice President, Head of Corporate Communications
Takeshi Muro joined MEDLEY, INC. in March 2025 and oversees Corporate Communications, including internal and external communications across domestic and international stakeholders. Prior to joining Medley, he worked at Hakuhodo Inc., engaging in international M&A projects and globalization support for Japanese companies. Then he joined Sansan, Inc. as an Executive Officer, supervising internal and external communications and corporate branding. He won major advertising awards such as Silver Lion at the Cannes Lions and ACC Grand Prix, and earned an MBA from the University of Michigan.

Kengo OzakiVice President, Head of Legal & Compliance
Kengo Ozaki joined MEDLEY, INC. in August 2023 and is responsible for strategic legal affairs and compliance & risk management in the Legal & Compliance Department. Prior to joining Medley, he worked for Mori Hamada and Matsumoto LPC, where he was engaged in Capital Markets and M&A transactions, and was seconded to Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities Co., Ltd.He then joined Smart News, Inc. as Legal Head. He was admitted to the bar in Japan and California.

Daiki Okiyama joined MEDLEY, INC. in February 2022 and leads Accounting and Tax at the Finance Division. Prior to joining Medley, he was engaged in accounting audits and internal control audits mainly of listed companies in Japan at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu LLC. Certified Public Accountant.

Noriyoshi OwariVice President, Head of Corporate Development, Finance Division
Noriyoshi Owari joined MEDLEY, INC. in January 2019 and drives companywide M&A activities at the Finance Division. Prior to joining Medley, he worked on corporate planning operations such as the formulation of medium-term management plans at Kakaku.com, Inc. He also has experience in retail sales of securities and M&A advisory at SMBC Nikko Securities Inc.

Shuhei FujimotoOpen Innovation Partner
Shuhei Fujimoto has been Open Innovation Partner since April 2024. He is an Associate Professor at Shizuoka Graduate University of Public Health, teaching healthcare business courses, and also an angel investor specializing in the healthcare field. Previously, he led new business development in the healthcare and nursing care fields at companies including a healthcare startup and a general trading company affiliated business. He also participated in launching MEDLEY, an online medical encyclopedia, at MEDLEY, INC. He is a licensed Physical Therapist.

Goichiro Toyoda has been Open Innovation Partner since April 2024. Previously, He led Government Relations and drove DX (Digital Transformation) for local medical institutions. Prior to joining MEDLEY, INC., he worked for McKinsey & Company and was engaged in strategic consulting in the healthcare industry. After receiving medical education, he did his initial training at Seirei Hamamatsu General Hospital and then worked in the department of neurosurgery at NTT Medical Center Tokyo. He also studied at Children's Hospital of Michigan. He holds a Licentiate in Medicine.

Yuta Tamaru has been Open Innovation Partner since April 2024. Previously, he oversaw the legal and other corporate divisions. Prior to joining MEDLEY, INC., he was engaged in cross-border corporate legal affairs, including M&A and business alliances, at Paul Hastings and White & Case LLP. He is a licensed attorney.

Hidetoshi Takano has been Open Innovation Partner since April 2024. He founded KEYPLAYERS Inc. in January 2005 and serves as Representative Director and Career Consultant, providing recruiting services for startup and venture companies. He has been an angel investor and supported the IPOs of multiple investee companies. Previously, he was a Director at MEDLEY, INC., where he took the company public. He also launched the recruiting business and led the career support business at INTELLIGENCE Ltd.

Yusuke Shima has been Open Innovation Partner since April 2024. Previously, he served as Head of CLINICS Business, then as General Manager of the Corporate Planning Office, Head of the Medical Platform Business Division, and Representative Director (Medical Doctor) of the group company Pacific Medical, Inc. Prior to joining MEDLEY, INC., he worked for Boston Consulting Group as a consultant in the healthcare industry and for the Japanese Red Cross Medical Center as a gastroenterologist. He holds a Licentiate in Medicine.

Hidetoshi UriuDirector (independent external)
Hidetoshi Uriu has been an External Director since March 2025. After joining Goldman Sachs, he worked in the investment banking division for roughly 20 years, providing M&A and financing advice to domestic and overseas technology companies. He then joined VisasQ Inc. and helped expand the company globally, including through acquisitions. In 2024, he joined NEC Corporation and was appointed Chief Investment Officer.

Shinji Kimura has been an External Director since March 2025. After joining Dream Incubator, he founded Atlantis Inc. (now Glossom) in 2007, which was sold to GREE, Inc. in 2011. He was appointed as the representative director of Gunosy, Inc. in 2013, and as the representative director and chairman of the group and CEO in 2020. The group is expanding globally through investments in Indian company Slice.

He worked on a number of accounting and tax consulting services related to M&A, capital policy, and IPO support at PwC Certified Public Tax Accountants. Ryoko Nagata has been an External Corporate Auditor since March 2023. She also serves as an Outside Director (member of the audit committee) of Honda Motor Co., Ltd., and an Outside Director of UACJ Corporation. Prior to that, she became the company's first female Executive Officer at Japan Tobacco Inc., in June 2008, when she was appointed Head of the Beverage Business, after working in the Pharmaceutical Division, Human Resources Department, and the General Manager of the Product Management of Food Division. Since then, she has served as an Executive Officer in charge of CSR and as a full-time auditor.
